My name is Ryan Alves, and SellerSwarm exists because I lived firsthand what it means to build an Amazon business without the right tools.
It all started selling from home
In 2016, I started selling on eBay. No experience, no mentor, just testing. From there I moved to Etsy, and finally arrived at Amazon. My model was FBM — I did everything. Packaging, shipping, answering messages, managing returns, optimizing listings and launching ad campaigns.
I reached over a million in annual revenue, but the price was high. I worked 14-hour days. My business grew, but I was burning out.
The moment that changed everything
In 2023, while dealing with thousands of repetitive tasks, I discovered artificial intelligence. It wasn't love at first sight — it was survival. I started creating small automations. A script here, an agent there. Suddenly, tasks that took me hours were solved in minutes.
For the first time in years, I could breathe.
From seller to mentor (and the problem nobody talked about)
In 2024 I launched Amazon Starter, my mentoring program. Hundreds of people wanted to learn, but I saw the same pattern repeat: paralysis from information overload. My students spent weeks watching videos, taking notes, but didn't know what to do first.
That's when I understood: they didn't need more information. They needed smart execution.
